I’ve always believed that the most beautiful outfit in the room isn’t the one with the most embroidery, it’s the one that makes someone feel something. That’s the thought behind every MAALOOM creation.
My inspiration comes from the quiet warmth of a mother’s blessing, the elegance of Indian craftsmanship, and the stories that unfold around weddings and celebrations. I obsess over the little things,the fall of a fabric, the balance of an embroidery motif, the way a silhouette moves because I know it’s the smallest details that create the biggest emotions.
At MAALOOM, we’re not chasing trends or designing for a single season. We’re creating pieces that become part of your family’s photographs, traditions, and memories. Years from now, I hope someone opens their wardrobe, smiles, and says, “This is my MAALOOM.”

MAALOOM was never just a name. It was my first lesson in design—a mother's wisdom woven into every thread.
Some of my earliest memories are of sitting quietly in my mother's studio, watching fabrics arrive as possibilities and leave as stories. Long before I understood silhouettes or couture, I understood craftsmanship. I was captivated by the rhythm of creation—the careful selection of textiles, the precision of every embroidery, and the patience with which each garment came to life.
My mother was my first teacher. She taught me to look beyond the obvious—to appreciate the character of a fabric, the purpose of every stitch, and the beauty that lies in thoughtful details. More importantly, she showed me what it means to build something with patience, resilience, and unwavering belief in your craft.
That philosophy became MAALOOM. A name that brings together 'Maa', a mother's unconditional love and guidance, and 'Loom', where threads become fabric and fabric becomes stories. Every collection is an extension of that journey—celebrating craftsmanship, timeless design, and the quiet belief that the most meaningful creations are never simply worn; they become a part of someone's story.

MAALOOM is a reflection of that very belief. We didn't begin this journey to create just another fashion label. We wanted to build something rooted in the values that have quietly shaped our lives for generations—love, family, gratitude, honesty, and above all, our humanity. Life takes each of us in different directions, but it is the little moments that give it meaning: a mother's embrace, the joy of a celebration, the moments we share together, and finding someone to walk through life with. MAALOOM exists to honour these moments. Its name brings together MAA, representing a mother's unconditional love and blessing, and LOOM, symbolising the fabric through which our stories are woven. Together, they became MAALOOM—A Mother's Blessing, Woven Into Fabric. More than our tagline, it is the philosophy that guides every decision we make.
From the very beginning, we envisioned MAALOOM as a customer-centric experience, not a brand. We do not believe our responsibility begins when an order is placed or ends when an outfit is delivered. It begins with understanding your story and continues long after your celebration is over.
